Vegetarian food is out, vegan food is in - at least in Germany. According to current statistics, around 2.6 million people in Germany follow an exclusively vegan diet - i.e. without animal products. That corresponds to a good 3% of the total German population. Since it is only logical that the industry and food manufacturers want to open the vegan market and constantly develop new vegan products. Vegan cream, vegan sausage, vegan shoes. In fact, there's no produce that doesn't now come in a vegan version.
